The internet can be a useful tool in the rehearsal process.
This is a clip of the piece I am currently making for my beginning students. I posted it online and some of them have found it helpful when they practice outside of rehearsal and class.

Jane Goldberg led a discussion on women dancing in heels at the 2005 NYC Tap Festival.  Meanwhile, several female dancers work it out backstage, hitting in all kinds of shoes and styles.

The Tap Divas made a return appearance at Tap City 2005 at the Joyce Theatre in NYC.  Sarah Petronio, Brenda Bufalino, and Lynn Dally were joined by Mable Lee, all seen here in a rehearsal for "Straighten Up and Fly Right." The "divas in training" watching enthusiastically from the audience make this moment all the more poignant. click here to watch 4.7MB/2 min.
